PM TUNING RACING PRODUCTS race team enter into 150 meter category record books..................

Hockenhiem 2006 scooter weekend

What a nail biting weekend it turned out to be with over 7000 scooter enthusiasts converging at the famous Hockenhiem race circuit.
As usual Mathias from Scooter Attack put on a splendid weekend show with circuit racing, mobile dyno testing, custom show and the reason we were there the 150 meter scooter sprint Euro challenge.

The best recorded time at last years meeting was 6.45 and current record so when we popped off a
6.50 seconds for our first run of the day we were well pleased.

This set the pace for others to beat and we held the top slot until late afternoon when the temperature started to drop.
One of the Italian teams clocked a 6.45 we responded with a 6.42 later came a 6.36 followed by a 6.22 by the top Italian team.

Time was getting on and we were still battling it out at 7pm with the light fading fast, the sprint was supposed to finish at 5pm but everyone wanted to win so badly that the organizers decided to run into the twilight zone.

Our last run of the day stood in the balance could we pull this off...??
A quick decision to down jet and remove the filter did the trick recording a new world first and new 150 meter world record of 6.19. Terminating at 132.80kph, and also taking one of the fastest top speed of the day.

Many thanks to Mathias and his crew for the kind hospitality shown and for organizing a great weekend and last but not least to
Joe Elliot for piloting the PM Tuning PRO SPRINT rocket to a truly impressive result.

Well done again lads........
