A great weekend was had by all at this years LCGB event located at the popular show grounds @ Lincoln, 80 riders entered and enjoyed this first time event organised by Pete Newbold's 100 MPH club.

The PM Tuning X2 sprinter was piloted by pocket sized rider Joe Elliot he set the early bar and the time to beat for the day recording the first 2 runs at 92MPH and later bettering it to record 94MPH …an amazing result by the PM Tuning team.

The 1/8 mile track ran progressively uphill into with a slight head wind at times.
Track conditions were OK but got a little hairy at those kinds of speeds so a little more steering damping was dialled in to keep things in check after a scary tank slapper on the second run!

The braking zone required some hard braking as soon as the 1/8 line was crossed in order to get the X2 down to a safe stopping speed.

All in all a great days sprinting with a good mix of machines - we hope this will be an annual event and would like to thank Pete Newbold, organisers and everyone who helped out to make it a memorable day. Images courtesy of Iggy @ www.2commute.co.uk
