This stud & nut kit was originally developed for our world record holding PM Pro-Sp and Twin X2 Carbon Scomadi sprinters and are manufactured from high tensile steel with a 4h grade thread which gives a tighter tolerance fit between the stud and crankcase to stop thread slop which under constant changeable thermal conditions help keep the correct torque on the cylinder head nuts which would normally loosen over time causing air or water leaks.
Perfect for replacing bent, damaged, corroded or rusty studs which can contaminate coolant and may cause damage to the water pump and or its seal.
We recommend fitting this kit along with any new cylinder kit or when rebuilding your existing top end
